Our Qualifications
A major benefit is that our facility provides a safe and caring home-like environment and is a more affordable alternative to costly nursing homes to help improve individuals’ health and well being while focusing on their physical strengths, mental well-being and stimulation, dietary health, with an overall goal to improve our clients’ quality of life. Additionally, an individual is allowed to stay in their community while the caregiver can go to work or take a much-needed break. Provide social interaction which helps to keep their minds sharp. Assistance with eating, taking medications, walking, etc. We pride ourselves on providing top notch health monitoring which includes checking things like blood pressure, weight, and diabetes. The RN we have on site also helps assist with medication management so each individuals gets their right medication at the right time.
Most importantly, we get to help keep our clients young at heart while maintaining their individuality and dignity. For those individuals in our care, they need to be 18 years or older and have a medical necessity such as high blood pressure, diabetes, monitoring of medications, etc. and we also accept a wide variety of payment options which include Medicaid, private pay, and VA. We also pay for transportation on VIA Trans in most cases. Our staff will help assist in getting all the paperwork handled and getting signed up. Our services are free if you qualify — if you are eligible under the Medicaid program, the services will be paid in full by Medicaid and will be at no cost to you. This facility does not discriminate based on age, religion, income, or gender. We are fully licensed by The Texas Department of Aging & Disability, a Medicaid Certified Facility, A Veterans Affairs Certified Facility, and a CACFP Participant.
